Conversion of the residence permit from study to work – A foreign citizen in possession of a valid residence permit for study who has an employer interested in hiring him or intends to carry out a self-employed activity can apply for the conversion of the title to a residence permit for work purposes.
The application for conversion can be made following the publication of the Flows Decree in the Official Gazette which establishes the maximum number of non-EU citizens allowed each year to convert their study permit to work.
